The Restaurant That Makes Mistakes

The Restaurant That Makes Mistakes is an uplifting and heart-warming series, encompassing an inspiring social experiment. We will follow the trials, tribulations and triumphs of a group of eight Volunteers all living with some form of dementia, who come together to run a restaurant, under the aegis of an award winning Chef and Restaurateur Ben Bayly.

The series sees family, friends and members of the public visiting the restaurant over a four-week period to put the newly trained staff to the test. Having spent time learning the tricks of the trade, we’ll be following the journey of our Volunteers through this series, in a sometimes poignant, sometimes funny but always feel good and surprising way, as they are put to work in one of the highest pressure and toughest working environments there is. There may be a few forgotten and misplaced orders, a dropped plate here and there, but at it’s core, The Restaurant That Makes Mistakes is full of heart, humanity and hope.
